After School Program

The BCA After School Program is available to provide families with a safe choice for their children, in the provision of additional opportunities for them to socialize and learn with his or her peers. After the rigorous school day, we understand that most children want to let loose and play. We also know that most parents want to have their children continue their learning. At BCA aftercare, we combine learning with fun. Using S.T.E.A.M in our aftercare program (science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics) is how we accomplish that.

We offer two programs that are supervised by committed, experienced teachers who bring fun into the class while reinforcing the lessons learned that day. Our after school program provides children the chance to further explore developing interests and acquire new skills while preparing them to navigate challenges in their formal learning environment.

We provide great after school care in Davie, FL and surrounding areas for your children. BCA is here for you when you cannot be there in person. Our after school program is perfect for working parents who want their children to develop and grow while having a positive experience with continued hands-on learning experiences.

Every child has a unique purpose and our after school program is designed to encourage students to cultivate skills and talents that help define that purpose. We are able to provide unique, individual attention to our after care students since we run a smaller program. This allows the opportunity to know each child and give them more attention.

Through team-building activities and S.T.E.A.M based lessons, we provide your child with the tools they need to succeed in the long-term.

Kindness, laughter, and memory-building are all key to creating lasting friendships. Our program gives kids the chance to practice their social skills in an interactive, fun, and stress-free environment. Our classrooms are filled with opportunities for kids to share experiences, encourage one another, and build unbreakable bonds.

Kids are bubbling with creativity and imaginations and at BCA we feel it’s our responsibility to expand these curious minds through hands-on experiences. Our biochemist aftercare director is constantly incorporating technology, coding, and science into our weekly lessons. Kids conduct science experiments, go on nature walks, explore their artistic talents, and interact with technology during our time with them.

Our program encourages team-building and unity through our outdoor rotations. Our on-site coach sets up collaborative activities which include but are not limited to team sports, group games, team strategy games and more.

Additionally, our after care teachers assist students with their daily homework so when they get home you can create fun family memories.

We understand that every parent wants to ensure that their kids are safe. That’s why at BCA our teachers go through an extensive background check, are CPR certified, and have completed their 45-hour DCF certification which is required by the state to work with children.

Upon entering the building, you must ring a bell and our administrative assistant will let you in. Each parent receives a unique code that can only be used by you to pick up your child. All visitors must sign-in at the front desk and show identification upon entering the building.

Every night a cleaning crew comes in to clean all the classrooms and disinfect the toys. We take all these precautions to create a safe environment so we can put our focus on where it belongs…on your child!

While all meals and snacks are provided by parents, we have a strict peanut-free policy in order to ensure that our classrooms are safe for all children under our care. All allergies are documented and kept in the front office and in each classroom.

We provide transportation from Silver Ridge Elementary to the BCA after school program. All our drivers have to go through a safe driving training.
