12 Years of Excellent Education Helping Kids Feel Excited About Learning
In Matthew 22:37 Jesus says the greatest commandment is to love God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind. That’s why at BCA we focus on the whole child. We create an environment where each student will grow in their personal knowledge of God, learn to follow the teachings of Jesus, and develop the spiritual, cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills needed for school success.
Who Are We?
Since opening its doors in 2005, Broward Christian Academy/BCA (formerly known as Foundations Christian Academy) consistently pursues academic excellence in a small, loving, family-based environment. We have had the privilege of having many families walk through our doors and become part of the BCA family. The combination of active, participatory learning with Bible teaching is winning the attention of our community.
Broward Christian Academy students enjoy instruction by our professional teaching staff in safe and stimulating classrooms and outdoor settings. We utilize the Creative Curriculum, a comprehensive, research-based curriculum that features exploration and discovery as a way of learning. Children build confidence, creativity and critical thinking skills – helping kids feel excited about learning!
Each child’s social and emotional development is enhanced by BCA yearly calendar events: The Christmas pageant, Harvest Festival, Mother’s Day Tea, Father/Daughter Dance, Silly Hat parade and more. These Broward Christian Academy, formerly known as Foundations Christian, traditions also teach children the importance of family and the value of being part of a community that models respect and love for self and for others.
Broward Christian Academy is a ministry of The Broward Church, a community of believers who hold to the teachings of the Bible as our standard for living and having a relationship with God.
At Broward Christian Academy, we desire that our student’s discovery of the world around them is influenced by: a respect for God as both Father and Creator; a spirit of cooperation that is also capable of being independent; and the freedom of creative expression.
